Applicant organisation needed for Erasmus + KA2 project on Family Learning

CPIP Romania - Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning is preparing a project application on family learning and needs a promoter for the project who is willing to submit the application at their National Agency. All the administrative and development work will be done by CPIP. The project applicant should have previous experience in coordinating EU funded projects and solid expertise in the field of adult education/basic skills for adults.

You can only really learn and understand a new language by practising it. Language coaches see what kind of support newcomers need in their daily life, for example, help with job applications, doctor's visits or their volunteer work at a sports club. We like working in small groups or individually in settings such as library Language Cafés or community centres. Libraries and community centres were forced to close when the Dutch government introduced lockdown measures in response to COVID-19.

Our lives consist of many transitions – some of them are planned and have a time schedule (think of starting and finishing school, retirement etc.). Others can be planned to a certain extent but are quite traditional and their preparation and consequences are very well known: marriage and children, for example. Then we have events that demand a lot of resilience, such as divorce, illness or job loss. The good news is that adult learning and education can play a very positive role in supporting people in these life transitions.

Realising that technologies, computing capacities, intelligent machines and artificial intelligence in general had become a significant and unavoidable part od teaching and learning in modern age, it struck me that I knew so little about the new phenomenon. The strange was the fact that I used and relied on artificial intelligence a lot without even realising it. The realisation set me on the way of exploring the world of the very phenomenon, its advantages and disadvantages, impact and all the possibilities it offers in education.

The project “MAKE IN CLASS – Developing Maker-based learning paths in class to prevent early school leaving” is a project co-funded by the ERASMUS + Programme of the European Union (KA2 development of innovation project). 

Seven partners coming from 4 different countries (Italy, Germany, Spain and Malta) are involved in this project aimed at supporting teachers and educators in understanding the potential of implementing maker-based activities to prevent early school leaving phenomenon in secondary schools.

Izrada priručnika je podržana od strane projekta EPALE Nacionalna služba za podršku u Crnoj Gori, koji ima za cilj da promoviše značaj obrazovanja odraslih i podstiče jačanje ljudskog kapitala kroz upotrebu jedinstvene elektronske platforme za učenje odraslih u EVROPI. Priručnik se sastoji iz više poglavlja koja ustanovama pružaju sveobuhvatan pristup procesu samoevaluacije.
