The current economic crisis in Europe, which has its roots in the banking crisis started in 2008, has taken on different forms. EAEA outlines four main issues that adult education has to deal with: the economic crisis, the crisis of European cohesion and identity, the ethical crisis and the personal crisis.

The Prisoner Learning Alliance (PLA), after consultation with its 16 members and over 50 teachers, prisoners, ex-prisoners, Governors, officers and other stakeholders, has developed a set of three key principles for the future of prisoner learning. Prisoner learning should be; outcome-focused, joined-up and value-driven. In 'Smart Rehabilitation', the PLA makes 17 recommendations for how to achieve this.

The report is resulted by a literacy, language and numeracy research in New Zealand.

This 2014 report attempts to answer questions about the extent to which the Literacy and Numeracy for Adults Assessment Tool (LNAAT) can reasonably and legitimately be used to assess the literacy and numeracy of English language learners.

The study findings provide a strong indication that LNAAT produces appropriate assessments of the literacy skills of those English language learners who were assessed.

Projekt RENEWAL má za cieľ posilniť Európsky program vzdelávania dospelých v štátoch južného a stredovýchodného regiónu, a obzvlášť tam, kde majú nízku účasť vo vzdelávaní dospelých a menej infraštruktúry. Tento cieľ možno dosiahnuť tak, že od rôznych predstaviteľov a poskytovateľov vzdelávania dospelých v spomínaných dvoch regiónoch zozbierame ich pohľady a názory na túto koncepciu a jej dopad, a zároveň im bude poskytnutý priestor na diskusiu o najväčších výzvach a možnom rozvoji iniciatívy EÚ.
