In this volume, 28 examples of good practice are presented and analysed by authors from the German Institute for Adult Education, Leibniz Centre for Lifelong Learning to find starting points for professionalisation development leading towards inclusive adult education.

An analysis grid is compiled as preliminary work, providing an almost comprehensive record of each continuing education course.

OED Network has developed a grid in order to analyse quantitative and qualitative data looking at enhancing and hindering indicators/factors for outreach as well as enhancing diversity and empowerment within adult education institutions.

Until today there has been no grid available which parameterises the goals for adult education and developmental tasks when it comes to facilitating access to and participation in education for all learners, especially among people known as educationally disadvantaged adults.

The theme of the 2011 EAEA Grundtvig Award was "Innovative Approaches in Adult Education and Learning - Learning Experiences through Volunteering". 2011 was the European Year of Volunteering, and the topic for the EAEA Grundtvig Award followed the same theme.

The Prisoner Learning Alliance (PLA), after consultation with its 16 members and over 50 teachers, prisoners, ex-prisoners, Governors, officers and other stakeholders, has developed a set of three key principles for the future of prisoner learning. Prisoner learning should be; outcome-focused, joined-up and value-driven. In 'Smart Rehabilitation', the PLA makes 17 recommendations for how to achieve this.

The report is resulted by a literacy, language and numeracy research in New Zealand.

This 2014 report attempts to answer questions about the extent to which the Literacy and Numeracy for Adults Assessment Tool (LNAAT) can reasonably and legitimately be used to assess the literacy and numeracy of English language learners.

The study findings provide a strong indication that LNAAT produces appropriate assessments of the literacy skills of those English language learners who were assessed.

Projekt RENEWAL má za cieľ posilniť Európsky program vzdelávania dospelých v štátoch južného a stredovýchodného regiónu, a obzvlášť tam, kde majú nízku účasť vo vzdelávaní dospelých a menej infraštruktúry. Tento cieľ možno dosiahnuť tak, že od rôznych predstaviteľov a poskytovateľov vzdelávania dospelých v spomínaných dvoch regiónoch zozbierame ich pohľady a názory na túto koncepciu a jej dopad, a zároveň im bude poskytnutý priestor na diskusiu o najväčších výzvach a možnom rozvoji iniciatívy EÚ.
