In 2014 a new initiative of the European Commission - the European adult education specialist electronic learning platform (EPALE) was introduced in Lithuania. The initiative is linked to the EU's long-term commitment to promote the quality of adult learning in Europe. The main aim of the EPALE project is to bring together adult education professionals in a multilingual community in a dynamic, interactive and innovative space.

Kansalaisopistot, kansanopistot, kesäyliopistot, liikunnan koulutuskeskukset ja sivistysliittojen opintokeskukset järjestävät tutkintoon johtamatonta, pääasiassa aikuisille suunnattua vapaata sivistystyötä. Oppilaitokset voivat järjestää myös ammatillista tai yleissivistävän koulutusta. Oppilaitosten maahanmuuttajakoulutuksessa painopiste on aikuisten kieli- ja kulttuurikoulutuksessa.

2014 m. Lietuvoje pristatyta nauja Europos Komisijos iniciatyva - Europos suaugusiųjų švietimo specialistų mokymosi elektroninė platforma („EPALE“). Iniciatyva yra susijusi su ES ilgalaikiais įsipareigojimais skatinti kokybišką suaugusiųjų mokymąsi Europoje. Pagrindinis „EPALE“ projekto tikslas yra suburti suaugusiųjų švietimo specialistų bendruomenę daugiakalbėje, dinamiškoje, interaktyvioje ir novatoriškoje erdvėje.

This report examines the role of education in fostering the economic integration of immigrants. It is organized in five sections. In the first section, we look at the educational attainment of first and second generation immigrants in Europe, as compared to the US. In the second section, we consider how language skills affect the educational outcomes and the integration of immigrants.

This study focuses on the integration of beneficiaries of international protection (persons granted asylum and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection) and persons who have been issued a humanitarian residence title in the framework of an asylum procedure into the labour market. The study provides an overview of state-funded measures that promote the labour market integration of the target group. Therein, it indicates to what extent these measures are tailored to the specific needs of the target group and whether they are eligible to access these measures.

Die Studie befasst sich mit der Arbeitsmarktintegration von Asylberechtigten und subsidiär Schutzberechtigten sowie Personen, die im Rahmen eines Asylverfahrens einen humanitären Aufenthaltstitel erhalten haben. Sie basiert auf einer Literaturrecherche und eigenen Erhebungen und enthält eine Übersicht der staatlich finanzierten Maßnahmen zur verbesserten Arbeitsmarktintegration in Österreich. Dazu zählen Angebote in den Bereichen Sprache, Bildung, Berufsausbildung, Anerkennung von Qualifikationen, Beratung, Orientierung und Existenzsicherung.

Für die DIE Zeitschrift führte Redakteurin Theresa Maas ein Gespräch mit Miriam Claudi über ökonomische Bildung, Kapitalismus und das gute Leben. Miriam Claudi ist Programmplanerin für den Bereich Kunst und Kultur sowie Studium Generale an der Volkshochschule Frankfurt am Main. Im Februar 2016 veranstaltete die VHS erstmals eine Themennacht zu ökonomischen Fragen unter dem Titel "Macht uns die Ökonomisierung des Lebens ärmer?"

Con motivo del IV Centenario de la muerte de Cervantes, la Subdirección General de Documentación y Publicaciones,  de la Secretaría General Técnica,  ha publicado el portal “Cervantes en la Editorial y en las Bibliotecas del MECD” con el  propósito de dar la mayor difusión posible y poner al alcance de los ciudadanos las publicaciones que en torno a Cervantes y a su obra ha editado este Ministerio, así como los fondos cervantinos que albergan las colecciones bibliográficas de sus bibliotecas.
