The Zero Project was initiated by the Essl Foundation in 2010. It is run in partnership with the World Future Council since 2011 and with the European Foundation Centre since 2013. The mission of the Zero Project is to work for a world without barriers, according to the principles of the UN CRPD. It does so by researching Innovative Practices and Innovative Polices worldwide that help to improve the lives of persons with disabilities, as well as researching social indicators that measure the implementation of the UN CRPD and the current situation in all countries of the world.

It was inspired by the seminar held in 2012 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of UIL. El informe se centra en aquellas medidas dirigidas a asegurar que los grupos más vulnerables de adultos discentes, en particular aquellos con escasas competencias básicas o aptitudes insuficientes, tengan un acceso apropiado a las oportunidades de aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida.

No presente trabalho pretende reflectir-se, criticamente, sobre o importante papel que a educação de pessoas adultas poderá desempenhar na promoção da igualdade de oportunidades entre homens e mulheres. Partindo dos contributos de Paulo Freire, das filosofias humanistas da educação e do reconhecimento pessoal e social das aprendizagens informais e não formais, são apresentadas algumas propostas de actuação pedagógica, destinadas a grupos de pessoas adultas, com o objectivo de fomentar o questionamento dos tradicionais estereótipos de género. E, porque ensinar não é transferir conhecimento, mas antes criar as possibilidades para a sua própria produção ou construção, defende-se que, para as mudanças desejáveis a este nível, deverão ser respeitados os princípios da aprendizagem na vida adulta, no âmbito de uma visão positiva e optimista do ser humano e da sociedade.

A few years ago when Iceland applied for membership of the European Union, the Education and Training Service Centre was allocated funds to develop ways to collect and disseminate information and counselling with regard to competence in the labour market. Part of the project was to develop further evaluation of future competency needs in the labour market and this task was transferred to the Directorate of Labour where it became a task of the author of this article.

Ovim Zakonom uređuje se organizacija i struktura obrazovanja odraslih.

Obrazovanje odraslih obuhvaća cjelinu procesa učenja odraslih namijenjenu: a) ostvarivanju prava na slobodan razvoj ličnosti; b) osposobljavanju za zapošljavanje: stjecanju kvalifikacija za prvo zanimanje, prekvalifikaciji, stjecanju i produbljivanju stručnih znanja, vještina i sposobnosti; c) osposobljavanju za aktivno građanstvo;

Obrazovanje odraslih dio je jedinstvenoga obrazovnog sistema Unsko-sanskog kantona.
