What is the digital era and what are its implications? What are the opportunities of learning in the digital era? What are the challenges for teachers in the digital era? Those questions and some other interesting ones are analysed in this video summary of the Education in the Digital Era Conference speakers’ interventions.

An international teacher training methodology that is built on the best European practice and achievements. It is as the first step for our target group in growth not just in technological knowledge but also in teacher’s pedagogical capacity in their specific subject areas.

In 2008-2010 in the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme Grundtvig Multilateral project  “Tech-Connected Teacher” (TC*Teacher) was developed. Seeing the reality that many courses are created for teachers or teacher trainers who are dealing with young students, but still there is a lack of courses which propose additional studies for teachers who are working with adults as one of the project results visual/video e.

Vartotojai  naudodamiesi vaizdine e. mokomąja medžiaga, gali žingsnis po žingsnio mokytis, kaip surasti, įdiegti ir naudoti konkrečias inovatyvias technologijas.

The research study is intended for the adults and for all who are involved in volunteering. It is also intended for all levels students in the class, preparing final works or scientific publications.The study consists of a theoretical consideration about volunteering. Accomplished analytical work of various authors and sources which are analyzed and made some conclusions about the importance of volunteering in human existence. Volunteering reasons must occur in man, searching for the questions why and what man feels in.

Ši monografija yra informacinės visuomenės technologijų taikymo ir atliktų tyrimų rezultatas. Išsiaiškinta, kad informacinės visuomenės technologijos apima informacijos kūrimo, diegimo, sklaidos ir valdymo funkcijas. Tai gali įvaldyti tik besimokanti arba išsilavinimo siekianti visuomenė.

The purpose of this article is to reveal the problem–based learning in students‘ reflective practice at the university studies. The tasks of the article are to discuss the aspects of the problem–based learning and to analyse practice participants‘ opinions on problem-based learning, checking five models (of problem-based learning) in students‘ reflective practice at the university studies.

If you are teaching numeracy to adults, you may like to read this research report from the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), ‘What really counts: case studies on adult numeracy practice in Ireland'.

We learn best from each other, and this research shows great practice among numeracy tutors in five different centres across the country.

The case studies include different teaching practices, how mathematical concepts are taught, including the use of technology to teach numeracy in the classroom.

Social competence is very important to people in seeking their goals, and it becomes more and more complicated, requiring better knowledge and skills. It is evident that a basic challenge for Europe may become not technologies or business skills but social competence. It can be reached through learning.
