This "IO1-A6: Report about Obtained Skills / Competences in VET in Europe" concludes the Intellectual Output 1 of the Project Under Construction. The report contains a summary from desk research on VET systems in Europe with a focus on the partner countries involved in the project which are Portugal, Germany, Spain and Italy. Moreover, it includes the results of the field research on the success factors for top performance carried out in the project.

Im ersten Kapitel erfahren Interessierte, welche Definitionen und theoretischen Grundlagen Begriffen wie z.B. Bildung im Alter, Kompetenz oder informelles Lernen zugrunde liegen. Bei freiwilligem Engagement von älteren Personen zeigt sich, dass Lernprozesse meist non-formal oder informell ablaufen.

IV d. de C.) sobre las primitivas ruinas de un asentamiento rústico alto imperial de considerable relevancia.

I recently gave a training as part of an Erasmus funded project with the Acronym of CARE (Connecting Art with REal life issues). For this training, I created a set of questions on Developing Ecological Literacy and used the idea of spin the bottle to elicit student responses to such questions.  The questions are each written on a separate strip of paper and put in a hat or container.

The paper analyzes the various aspects of the possibilities for the implementation of improvisation activities in the process of adult education. The author presents some of the theoretical assumptions that suggest the importance of improvisation for learning at all ages, along with its essential traits that construct and define it. Furthermore, the paper indicates the profound permeation of the capacity for improvisation and human development. It is through this connection that the andragogical interest for the techniques of improvisation stems from.

I 2018 gjennomførte NOKUT for første gang en nasjonal undersøkelse om studiekvalitet. I 2020 har undersøkelsen blitt gjennomført for tredje gang, og lanseres digitalt. I år er det spesielt spennende å høre fagskolestudentenes opplevelse av fagskoletilbudet, ettersom vårens semester ble kraftig utfordret av korona-epidemien.

Avec une progression de 12 % des embauches entre 2017 et 2018, le numérique est l’un des gisements d’emploi de l’économie française, sachant qu’avant le confinement près de 80 000 postes n’étaient pas pourvus dans ces métiers. Le numérique est l’un des secteurs les plus dynamiques, mais les opportunités d’emploi profitent peu aux jeunes issus des quartiers prioritaires de la politique de la ville (QPV). Pour infléchir ce constat, le Conseil national du numérique (CNNum) émet 15 recommandations dont 5 concernent la formation et l’alternance, dans son avis "Faire du numérique un accélérateur de diversité", publié le 9 septembre 2020.

Being unable to read and write well makes it difficult for adults to fully participate in society and economy, but it does not mean that they have no skills or knowledge to speak of. Far from it: resilience, logical or creative thinking can be fostered independently from the so-called basic skills. How can we, as adult educators, build on the wealth of learners’ life experience? And what can we do to erase the stigma around low literacy skills, and instead create a learning environment - as well as a political discourse - that doesn’t focus on deficiencies, but on everybody’s contributions and potential?

The purpose of the study was to explore the requirements of schools to increase intergenerational learning, collaboration and solidarity amongst the Baby Boomers, X and Y generations, based on the views of school principals. The research focused on how to create spaces for interaction among different generations and what consequences will arise when intergenerational spaces are created. This study was conducted with phenomenological research design.
