Tienoo.fi on kotoutumisen tueksi avattu sivusto, josta löytyy tietoa esimerkiksi yhteiskunnasta, palveluista ja liikkumisesta. Sivustolta löytyy myös apua opiskeluun ja työnhakuun. Tienoo toimii neljällä kielellä, mutta palvelu on video- ja audioperusteinen, joten myös luku- ja kirjoitustaidottomat henkilöt voivat käyttää sivustoa. Palvelu on erinomainen työkalu esimerkiksi aikuiskouluttajille, jotka työskentelevät maahanmuuttajien kanssa.

This educational white paper is being written in the wake of school closures resulting from the CoVid-19 pandemic. As the necessity for distance learning has become apparent in order to reduce the spread of CoVid-19, the burden of the education of school children has shifted from teachers to parents. In this white paper, the author examines the components of instruction, the degree of shift in each, challenges associated with each, and proffers recommendations for schools and parents to manage these changes. Instructional and social-emotional components of education are discussed.

Today globalism has reached the point that an incident that takes place in a country can rapidly influence other parts of the world (Gilliom, 1981; Hicks, 2003; Kirkwood, 2001; Merryfield & Kasai, 2004). The ongoing coronavirus outbreak is a grand example of this phenomenon. The virus has spread to at least 187 countries and territories in five months after having first been reported in Wuhan, China. As of June 2020, more than 6.2 million people have been infected (World Health Organization [WHO], 2020).

This study used a three-part research design comprised of quantitative Likert scale rating statements, Henschke’s (2016) Modified Instructional Perspectives Inventory — Employees and Direct Supervisor (MIPI-EDS), and a qualitative open-ended survey-questionnaire to also explore how managers were perceived by their employees.

Abstract: This article deals with the concept of andragogy and the understanding of the same from a historical and professional perspective. It also includes a clarification of the difference between European and North American andragogy. Andragogy concerns adult education and learning in some way or another, but, beyond this, the concept is ambiguous. Many perceive it as being synonymous with Knowles’s andragogy from the 1970s, but this perspective is divorced from a sense of history. European andragogy arose long before Knowles’s andragogy did and is also more ambiguous.

Andragogy is a strategy for teaching adults that can be applied to Photoshop training. Photoshop workshops are frequented by adult learners, and thus andragogical models for instruction would be extremely helpful for prospective trainers looking to improve their classroom designs. Adult learners are much different than child learners, given the fact that adult learners tend to be much more intrinsically motivated to be in classrooms than children are.

Artikkel tugineb uuringul, mille fookuses on mitteformaalõpe kui fenomen, nii nagu see kultuuri- ja majandusvaldkonna parktikute kogemustes välja paistab. Teema aktuaalsus tuleneb asjaolust, et mitteformaalõppe praktikutel on mitteformaalõppe tähendusest mitmene arusaamine ja mõistmine, mis tekitab segadust õppijas ning teeb keeruliseks ühtset õppimise konteksti loomise. Uuringus lähtume sotsiaalse konstruktivismi põhimõttest, kasutame fenomenoloogilist uurimisviisi ning esitame praktikute kogemuste kirjelduse analüüsi.

Käesoleva aasta kevadine täiskasvanute koolitaja kutse andmise taotlusvoor oli teistest erinev, sest esmakordselt viidi hindamine läbi veebikeskkonnas. Taotlusvoorus taotles kutset 102 inimest. Täiskasvanute koolitaja kutse sai 87 taotlejat, neist  63 taotletaval tasemel, 22 juhul tegi hindamisgrupp ettepaneku anda taotlejale tase madalam kutse ja 15 inimest ei tõendanud enda kompetentse ja kutset ei saanud.
