The purpose of this study was to critically analyze the policy-practice gaps in the Management of Integrated Functional Adult Education Program (IFAEP) in Hararghe Zones of Oromia regional state, Ethiopia. A survey research design with both qualitative and quantitative approaches involving concurrent triangulation strategy was used. A total of 215 respondents (facilitators, n = 195; coordinators, n = 6; experts, n = 10; and Education Bureau Heads (EBHs), n = 4) were the samples.

The conceptual understanding of Adult Education and its mission has continued to suffer much neglect in various quarters in the education sector. The debate on the status of the discipline has been accorded low esteem and relegated to the background in government circles, in the intellectual community and public perception despite the huge potentials it offers in the developmental process. This paper is an attempt at repositioning the understanding of Adult Education to restore the image of poor perception from policy makers and implementers of adult education programmes in Nigeria.

In adult education, the concept of self-directed learning has great importance. (is term arose in the field of adult education in the 1970s and is still a widely used term in the field. Annual symposiums have been held by the International Society for Self-Directed Learning since 1986, dedicated to the promotion of self-directed learning. Because education is provided through adult learning in taking decisions and accompanied by spiritual guidance, adult educations were also required to increase college services to enter the community. The question researches were how women as candidate village head can make decision to become a village head and how to implemented spiritual guidance counselling for politic (SGCP) among adult women education toward political decision making.

Purpose: The purpose of this Policy Delphi Study was to identify the perceptions of California adult school administrators regarding the impacts of the Adult Education Block Grant (AEBG) on the operation of the adult education system, to rate the impacts as to their importance, and to identify strategies for addressing the impacts on existing adult education programs. Methodology: The Policy Delphi method was utilized in order to gather data from an expert panel of Californian K-12 adult education administrators that have been impacted by the AEBG on the adult education system.

In 2012, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia adopted the first National Equality and Non-Discrimination Strategy covering the 2012-2015 period. With a view to assessing the progress made, i.e. taking stock of the Strategy implementation and establishing whether the desired results were reached, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission in Skopje, in 2015, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy made an Evaluation of the Strategy, which produced guidelines and provided the basis for the new National Strategy for the 2016-2020 period.

Even in events like the COVID-19 pandemic, distance learning continues without disruption. Slavka's experience will definitely change her provision of adult learning because she will continue using all the possibilities that e-learning has to offer. She says that apprehension is a normal response to COVID-19 and it is a fact that we have all experienced significant changes in our daily lives. However, more importantly, we have discovered that we are capable of overcoming any obstacle that gets in our way to teaching and learning. We have discovered another strength within ourselves.

Guidance measures are a vital part of successful basic skills policies because they enable learners access, choose, engage and persist in the type of learning provision that is most adequate to their needs. Adults with basic skills needs present a very diverse competence profile and they are likely to have less than positive experience from learning. Guidance is therefore important to ensure motivation and to create a clear picture of the type of training they need. Both in terms of employability or permanence in the labour market and in terms of avoiding exclusion in times of swift societal change it is an imperative to provide optimal support measures to this specific target group.
