Effective citizen participation in decision making processes and increased involvement of the civil society in the policy making processes are the basis of the project “Strong CSO’s for positive social change”.  Enhancing the capacities of grass root CSO’s and increasing the transparency and accountability of local governments as well as creating networks between all stakeholders are the main goals of the activities conducted within the project. In der aktuellen Ausgabe des Magazin erwachenenbildung.at beschäftigen sich AutorInnen mit der Verortung von Erwachsenenbildung zwischen Verwertbarkeit und Emanzipation. Angesichts der stets steigenden Anforderungen des Marktes stellt sich die Frage, inwiefern der (Bildungs-)Anspruch, zur Mündigkeit der Menschen beitragen zu wollen, heute noch Anwendung findet.

Internationale Zusammenarbeit ist Teil der Arbeit vieler europäischer zivilgesellschaftlicher Organisationen für lebenslanges Lernen. Dennoch sind viele noch nicht in internationale Partnerschaften eingebunden oder konnten noch kein internationales Kooperationsprojekt erfolgreich umsetzen. Internationale Zusammenarbeit könnte den Organisationen jedoch helfen, interne Lernprozesse und Innovationen zu initiieren.

Ziel des Projekts BRIDGING ist die Zusammenarbeit zwischen sieben Ländern, um Sozialkapital zu fördern, sowie soziale Inklusion, Zusammenhalt und Vertrauen in der Gesellschaft, zu einer Zeit zu stärken, die von Spaltung und Missverständnissen geprägt ist. Das Projekt entwickelt neue, partizipative und co-kreative kulturelle Lernzugänge, die an Praktiker*innenin Europa weitergegeben werden können.
