Urban gardens are expanding around the world to encourage local production and consumption, social inclusion, dialogue and the adoption of a sustainable way of life. Indeed, whatever its shape, its size, each of them seeks the achievement of common objectives: social, educational, ecological, aesthetic, fun. Thus, they implement participative practices in their design, management and mode of operation.

Ogrody miejskie rozwijają się na całym świecie, aby zachęcać do lokalnej produkcji i konsumpcji, integracji społecznej, dialogu i podjęcia zrównoważonego stylu życia. Niezależnie od kształtu czy wielkości, tworzenie ogrodów służy do osiągnięcia wspólnych celów społecznych, edukacyjnych, ekologicznych, estetycznych i rozrywkowych. Dlatego też, ogród jako przestrzeń jest idealnym miejscem do wdrażania praktyk partycypacyjnych w projektowaniu, zarządzaniu i sposobie działania.

From a lifelong learning perspective, education during incarceration is crucial for prisoners’ rehabilitation. This article describes the authors’ development of their Perceived Barriers to Prison Education Scale (PBPES) and examines what deters prisoners from participating in education during their incarceration, how their perceptions differ depending on gender, age, educational level, learning difficulties, length of prison sentence, and whether the prisoners express a desire to participate in education or not.

Converge is a Nordplus Adult project which has came to end. At the end of the project we have created a game with explanation video. The main purpose of the game is to increase the knowledge of the adult educator, staff and volunteers knowledge about discrimination, cultural awareness, melting box and active citizenship. At the end of the game we hope the player knowledge increses, their attitude changes and their awareness about social inclusion increases.

Projekt ten rozpoczął się 01.10.2017 r. a zakooczył się 30.09.2019 r.W ciągu dwóch lat trwania Projektu przeprowadzono dwa działania. Pierwszym działaniem było przygotowanie i wyjazd w sierpniu 2018 do Niemiec na staż 25 – osobowej grupy nauczycieli, a drugim działaniem przygotowanie i wyjazd w maju 2019r. - 38-osobowej grupy uczniów na praktyki zawodowe również do Niemiec.
