Motivation in Online Education

Langue: EN

Posté par ibrahim kızıl

Anyone who wants to learn about motivation in online learning environments will find it useful to write a book called Motivation in Online Education by Maggie Hartnett. The book deals with the motivation of learners from a different perspective in online learning environments. The book also includes two case studies to understand first-hand the motivation of distance learners. In this respect, the author has examined in depth how and why the learners are motivated in the online learning process and what are the factors that prevent their motivation. In particular, the book identifies factors that increase and prevent learners' motivation, and discuss each of them in detail. In addition, the book draws attention to the complexity of learner motivation in open and distance learning environments and makes recommendations to educators, instructional designers and decision makers working in these environments.
