In this study, pioneering organizations leading to open and distance learning are introduced and the effects of strategic alliances on open and distance learning institutions are discussed.
By using web content analysis technique, international, continental, regional, national and state-based institutions, organizations, associations and consortiums operating in open and distance learning were examined. In this context, the general characteristics of the leading organizations in the field have been introduced and the findings have been visualized in summary tables. In addition, other organizations that do not include summary information in the study but whose web pages are analyzed within the context of web content analysis are shown in the table. In addition, through the screening of 99 websites, the aims of establishing strategic alliances in open and distance learning were determined and themes were revealed.
In the conclusion section, the strategic countries and regions in which strategic alliances and partnerships are concentrated and the reasons for this situation are discussed.
