The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of individuals in adult education about learning management systems (LMS).
The study group of the study consists of 11 trainees attending 160 hours Computer Use program in Trabzon Ortahisar Public Education Center in the summer term of the 2014-2015 academic year.
Semi-structured interview technique was used in this study, which was discussed with qualitative data collection technique. Semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. The developed interview form was finalized in line with expert opinions. The courses were presented to the trainees through LMS in a blended learning environment. During the interviews held at the end of the course, the opinions of the trainees about the use of the LMS they used during the teaching period were taken.
It was found that the use of technological tools in the teaching of the trainees had a positive effect on the attitudes of the trainees. As a result of the interviews, it was determined that the trainees had positive ideas about the use of LMS in teaching but had difficulty in the first stage. All trainees who participated in the study stated that it would be beneficial to provide other courses through LMS. It is thought that the opinions of the trainees taken within the scope of the study will contribute to the use of LMS in lifelong learning.
