Between April 2016 and February 2017, the first trainers were trained in Austria to deliver basic skills training in the workplace. This took place within the context of the project ‘T ABA’ or ‘Training of trainers for basic skills training in the workplace’ (Trainer/-innenausbildung für Basisbildung am Arbeitsplatz), which was financed with support from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and carried out by the BFI vocational training institute.

Das Projekt VIA4all lädt ein zur Tagung unter dem Titel "Digitale Medien - eine Chance für berufliche Inklusion?! Neue Ansätze und Konzepte". Digitale Medien können genutzt werden, um eine Synthese von Arbeiten und Lernen herzustellen. Sie dienen dabei als Lehr- und Lernwerkzeuge. Auf der Tagung stellen sich vier Projekte aus dem Bereich Medien in der beruflichen Bildung vor: VIA4all steht für "Video Interactive & augmented - arbeitsprozessorientiert lebenslang lernen in Aus- und Weiterbildung.

Zachęcamy do obejrzenia relacji z Europejskiego Tygodnia Umiejętności Zawodowych, który odbył się w dniach 5-9 grudnia 2016 roku. Celem tego wydarzenia było zachęcenie ludzi do odkrywania, wykorzystywania i doskonalenia swoich talentów i umiejętności. Looking for partners for job shadowing practice in Europe.

I am an English language teacher (Adults) in the south of Spain (Seville). We have applied for an Erasmus+ project KA1 and we would like to find partners for job shadowing practice in our school and in different schools of Europe. We are looking for host organizations interested in sharing job shadowing experiences.

KA2 project based on language learning

Our school is integrated in the Spanish Official Language Schools´ net dependant on, firstly, the Andalusian Government, and, secondly, the State Government. We offer courses of English, French and German, as well as yearly certified exams up to the B2 level,  and C1 level for English. We offer general, blended learning and on-line courses (the latter two only for English)

We are located in Fuengirola, a nice coastal town in the south of Spain, 20km from the city of Málaga.

Diane (the name was altered) is from Ethiopia, she arrived in August 2016 in Luxembourg. She took beginners French at the Institut National des Langues for about a month. In October 2016 she started her training in the 9+ i. Here she is studying French, Mathematics and English. Diane has an Ethiopian high school diploma. She is progressing very well in her studies. Her goal is to work with elderly people in a retirement home.

The Job Dag 2017 was organised on the 26th January 2017 by RTL (Radio Télévision Luxembourg), ADEM (Agence pour le développement de l’emploi) and RTPH (Réseau pour le travail et la promotion humaine). The goal of this event is to bring together job seekers and employers alike. The Department of Adult Education (DAE) of the Ministry of Education had set up an information booth. Job seekers had a lot of questions about furthering their education in order to become more competitive in their current job.

Miri Wael, is a young man from Syria, he arrived in Luxembourg in January of 2016. He has a Masters in Information Technology Engineering. Since his arrival, he has been taking French courses and has gone through the levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. To accompany his French studies, he joined the L4S for additional coaching in his learning process. He is learning French in order to be able to attend the University of Luxembourg. He is very focussed on obtaining a PhD in Engineering. He would like to live and work here in Luxembourg.
