Licenced adult education providers offer trainings for occupations, programmes for key competence improvement ( ICT, foreign languages, entrepreneurship), as well as special programmes of professional training, professional and personal development.

Training programmes for elementary, secondary general and secondary vocational education are adapted to adults, in compliance with the Law on Adult Education. Special adult education programmes are those aimed at attaining special knowledge, skills and competences (training programmes, programmes for the change of qualification, or additional qualification, improvement, specialization, key skills).

The competent Council has so far adopted 104 training programmes for the occupations of II, III and IV level, three programmes of professional training and seven special programmes for adults, while 80 programmes of licensed adult education providers have been accredited.
