The Northern Collaboration Annual Conference 2019 – Collaborating across physical, organisational and cultural boundaries will take place in Hull on 6 September 2019, beginning with a 9:15 registration session and refreshments. The event brings together many library professionals, including representatives of the 29 higher education libraries that make up the Northern Collaboration (NC) groups, consistently attracting more than 140 delegates. The event is most suitable for library directors, senior managers, managers and operational staff working in the higher education sector.

Keynote speakers include Professor Liz Barnes, Vice Chancellor of the University of Staffordshire, and Rosie Jones from Teesside University. A mix of workshops, presentations and talks will explore themes such as collaborating with services outside the library, breaking team boundaries to improve the student experience, and supporting researchers in HE. A total of sixteen sessions will be provided, ensuring there is something interesting for every delegate to attend.
Delegate tickets are priced between £75 and £85 depending on the time of booking – if booked before 16 August, delegates can enjoy the cheaper pricing. The event organisers are still accepting applications to exhibit.
