Toolkit 6: European perspectives on museum objects. Selected examples on the Change of Perspective  The goal of the EMEE project is to uncover the implicit and often hidden European dimension of local museum objects and to visualize the intertwined character of local, regional, national, European, and trans-European layers of historical meanings of museum objects. This approach requires the practice of the Change of Perspective in all areas covered by the five EMEE toolkits. Furthermore, it demands the combination and linking of these five facets.

Toolkit 5: Social Web and Interaction. Social media technologies for European national and regional museums The Toolkit shows that the social web can be used not only for public relations but also for interaction (museum with visitors, museum with non-visitors, visitors among themselves, museum with other institutions). With this Toolkit, visitors and other interested persons will be given a possibility to get involved with the museum’s topics, to discuss, to exchange ideas, to reflect on exhibitions, etc.

Toolkit 4: Synaesthetic translation of perspectives. Scenography - A Sketchbook The Toolkit offers ideas how to present different perspectives not only as text but by means of designing the space, including ideas how to use music, light or even scent. It translates perspectives into other ‘languages’ and allows visitor participation.

Toolkit 3: Bridging the gap. Activation, participation and role modification The Toolkit deals with the development of different levels of the participation and activation of the visitor (for example hands-on, minds-on, user-generated exhibitions, guided tours conceptualized in the form of a dialogue, participation of different focus groups in the museum work, etc.). It develops programmes to encourage non-visitor groups to get to know the museum’s world. It also provides best practice examples with a focus on trans-regional/European topics.

 

This  manual  ‘Making  Europe  visible’  (EMEE  Toolkit  1)  predominantly  focuses  on  the  first  of  the  three  Changes  of  Perspectives  of  the EMEE  concept:  by  re-interpreting  museum  objects  and  topics  the trans-regional European perspective shall gain access to national and regional  museums.  The  trans-regional  multi-perspective  approach  is thereby  especially  important,  meaning  previous  (national  or  local)  interpretational approaches to the objects shall not be negated by the new  additional  level  of  meaning,  but  presented  in  a  paralle

2016 m. balandžio 11-15 dienomis Vilniaus suaugusiųjų mokymo centre vyko atvirų durų savaitė, o jos pabaigoje, balandžio 15 d. – puikus renginys, vainikuojantis trejus metus trukusį šalies besimokančių suaugusiųjų kūrybinių darbų konkursą „Kuriu, vadinasi, esu“. Konkurso tikslas – skatinti kultūros vertybių pažinimą bei jų kūrybišką įprasminimą, skleisti mokymosi visą gyvenimą idėją bei mažinti socialinę atskirtį. Konkurse dalyvavo Lietuvos bendrojo ugdymo suaugusiųjų ugdymo institucijų 9 – 12 (I – IV gimnazijos) klasių mokiniai.

In the last 20 years the ethnical map of Romania had significant changes which include the appearance of new minority groups. Bucharest, a city with too little data to be considered cosmopolitan, houses communities of different foreigners, from British and Italian to Chinese, Lebanese, Turkish and Indian. The groups of immigrants build and negotiate in different ways their social spaces in the urban weave of Bucharest and their presence is currently weakly documented from administrative point of view, occasionally through TV reports, but not from a socio-cultural point of view.
De-a lungul ultimilor 20 de ani, harta etnică a României a cunoscut schimbări considerabile, inclusiv prin apariția unor noi grupuri minoritare. Bucureștiul, un oraș cu prea puține date pentru a putea fi considerat cosmopolit, găzduiește comunități de străini din cele mai variate, de la britanici și italieni până la chinezi, libanezi, turci și indieni. Grupurile de migranți își construiesc și negociază spații sociale în țesutul urban bucureștean în diverse moduri, prezența lor fiind în acest moment slab documentată din punct de vedere administrativ, ocazional prin reportaje de televiziune, dar nu și socio-cultural.

Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research – SIETAR jest organizacją działającą w obszarze komunikacji międzykulturowej. Kongres skierowany jest do przedstawicieli branż związanych z międzykulturowością w szerokim tego słowa rozumieniu, tzn. nie tylko trenerów, edukatorów i przedstawicieli świata nauki, ale także nauczycieli, pracowników działu HR, ekspertów ds. zrównoważonego rozwoju i osoby zaangażowane społecznie, które działają na szczeblach centralnych i lokalnych.

Education is a lifelong empowerment process, which should help citizens in their intra and interpersonal understanding, achieving personal development and becoming empathic individuals. The UNESCO has possibly summarised it best as "learning to be"- to enable individuals to develop to their fullest potential psycho-socially, affectively as well as physically, for an all-round "complete person".

Museum curators and educators believe that principal function of the museum is to foster learning, but museum visitors’ surveys do not reveal that primary motive of visiting museum is learning. Packer and Ballantyne (2002), distinguish five major motives of visiting museums: learning and discovery, entertainment, recreation, social interaction and self-realization.

Straipsnyje aptariami muziejų lankymo motyvai, kurie dažnai skiriasi nuo muziejų darbuotojų įsivaizduojamųjų. Nežiūrint, kad muziejų pamatinė funkcija yra šviesti visuomenę, tačiau lankytojai į muziejus eina nebūtinai šviestis. Identifikuojamos penkios pagrindinės motyvų grupės: mokymasis ir atradimas, pasyvus pasitenkinimas, rekreacija, socialinė sąveika ir saviraiška, savęs aktualizavimas.

Семинарът се реализира със съдействието на Министерство на културата, областни и общински организации, експерти, РЕКИЦ "Читалища", неправителствени организации, и е предназначен за над 90 читалища от област Смолян, читалища от страната, гости на семинара и други структури, които работят в областта на образованието и културата и чиито интереси са насочени към реализиране на дейности по практическа реализация на неформални възпитателни и образователни културни дейности в читалищата.

Christine Huygens is mama van Cloë, een fantastische 24-jarige meid met een mentale beperking en een vat vol talenten. Zij kwam drie jaar geleden op het idee om met deSCHREEUW te beginnen, een kunstenfestival door en voor mensen met en zonder beperking. "We willen die dag alle bezoekers even stil laten staan bij de vraag: Kan ik misschien iemand met een beperking een plaats geven in mijn directe werkomgeving?" Het festival vindt dit jaar plaats op 23 april in Turnhout (België).
