ValiGuide - a Practitioners' Guide to Validation
ValiGuide is a Nordic platform about validation, targeted at validation practitioners. The platform describes what validation is about, the stages of the validation process, the competences required for qualified validation as well as tips and tricks.
The aim:
- Knowledge and competence development across the Nordic countries
A strong focus on “how to” and awareness of challenges to be met
The ValiGuide offers a wide-ranging sample of materials, guidance and recommendations for practitioners working on the validation of adults’ non-formal and informal prior learning. The aim of ValiGuide is to contribute to the professionalization of the entire validation process as well as to each single stage of validation, thus contributing to the promotion of validation of non-formal and informal learning of adults.
ValiGuide is the result of a Nordplus project, Competence-pro. From 1. November in 2016, the platform will be hosted by the Nordic Expert Network for Validation under NVL, Nordic Network for Adult Learning. The Nordic Expert Network for Validation contributes to development and improving validation practices across borders, as well as in each of the Nordic countries.
