Addressing gender equality and diversity in teaching, training and in research activities

How to advance gender equality in the workplace, and how to address gender and diversity imbalances in teaching, training and in research?

A new online course includes methods and strategies for promoting gender equality and aims to give a solid understanding of how to create an increasingly gender sensitive organisation in your place of work.

The course has been recently created by the Trinity Centre for Gender Equality and Leadership (TCGEL). It is titled Creating A Gender Sensitive Institution.  It includes three sessions addressing Change Management for Gender Equality, Unconscious Bias, and The Gender Dimension in Research.

The course is aimed at whoever may be interested in promoting a better balance in gender and diversity in public and private organisations and in moving the first steps in gendering the research contents. The third module, in particular, also helps in organising dissemination and exploitation activities addressing a variety of target groups through appropriate strategies.

The course has been created through the collaboration among two projects: the FIAGES project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 793195; the SAGE proposal received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 710534.
