The EPALE Work-based Learning Week

Hinweis_Themenwoche

In recent years in Europe, forms of work-based learning (WBL) have increasingly attracted public interest: In the aftermath of the European economic crisis, it became apparent that the countries in which work-based learning is a core component of the education system emerged from the crisis relatively unscathed. Work-based learning also has the potential to provide needs-based training to skilled workers and ensure the employability of everyone against the backdrop of ongoing changes in society.

Work-based Learning on EPALE

Work-based learning is a key driving force in contemporary education – education that can respond flexibly to current challenges in society. For this reason, EPALE teams from Hungary and Germany are organising a Work-based Learning Week.

Every day from 24–28 February we will present one article from Germany and one from Hungary, thus providing you with insight into work-based learning in the context of (collaborative) European education work and from various perspectives.
