NEON Summit: Students' Unions and Widening Access - Effective Partnerships

England, Manchester
Kolmapäev, aprill 18, 2018 - 11:30 CEST to Kolmapäev, aprill 18, 2018 - 18:00 CEST

NEON’s “Students’ Unions and Widening Access – Effective Partnerships” summit on April 18th in Central Manchester will facilitate discussions between representatives from Students’ Unions and higher education institution-based widening access practitioners. It is a great opportunity to develop widening access activities that truly include the student voice.

This one day conference will use a keynote presentation and multiple breakout sessions to highlight examples of best practice and the benefits of working in partnership to achieve the shared goal of equality of access. Be a part of the discussion on important issues including:

  • The new guidance on the role of students in “Access and Participation Plans” with the Office for Students
  • How to work more collaboratively with Students’ Unions
  • The current best practice to ensure higher education institutions and Students’ Unions are working collaboratively to widen access
  • How to develop outreach work in partnership with our students

Non-member rate: £199 / Individual member rate: £149 / Students Union rate: £35
