The Norwegian Government has funded 7,5 million Norwegian Krones for training for employees in the healthcare sector. Changes and technology development happen very fast in this sector. More and more patients are been supported from the health care service at home, by use of various tools, such as safety alarms, electronic journals, automatic medical injection pumps and GPS. This demands an upskilling of the workforce in the health care sector.

This is an Erasmus+ funded project which aims to design and implement effective training tools for enhancing key skills and competences of (a) highly-skilled refugees and (b) the language teachers who work with them, and so enhance the employability and societal integration of skilled refugees.

This project sets out to discover the extent to which there is an ideal approach for prison staff career management and, in so far as one was found to exist, to identify the elements of that model. Our aim, so far unexploited in any European project, is to look at the process of cultural change within the prison environment, reflecting on the career of the staff and on the support provided for the inmates.
