This will be a two-year Erasmus+ Project in the field of Adult Education. Adult Learning has become vital in recent years, especially in developing countries more than it is in developed ones. People who are out of formal education somehow can not complete their education or after formal education, some of them has found it difficult to find a job they are happy with or they need to develop themselves and improve their life, basic skills. Unfortunately not all people live in equal and fair conditions. This is also valid for their educational situations.

Im Oktober dieses Jahres findet die Fotoausstellung des Erasmus+ Projekts EliCCon in der historischen Stadt Ostrava statt. Verpassen Sie nicht die Gelegenheit, die gelebten Kulturen und Traditionen aus vier europäischen Ländern - Tschechien, Deutschland, Spanien und Großbritannien - zu erleben. Veranstaltungsort ist die einzigartige Michal Mine, welche das industrielle Erbe und den Kohlebergbau in Nordmähren repräsentiert.

This October, the exhibition of the EliCCon-Project is going to take place in the historical city of Ostrava. Don’t miss the chance to meet the lived cultures and traditions from four European countries - Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and the UK. The unique Michal Mine represents the industrial heritage and coal mining in North Moravia.

This exhibition brings together 28 European projects about adult learning in different countries across Europe. These projects aim to ensure the well-being of any individuals by giving them the chance to acquire skills and knowledge no matter their social backgrounds. This exhibition is published on A3 posters and available online. Any organization in Europe can easily download, share, print, display this exhibition and organize its #ErasmusDays event.

Leta 2018 se je Muzej Velenje prvič prijavil na Erasmus+ program Mobilnost osebja za izobraževanje odraslih. Odločili smo se, da prijavo zastavimo tako, da bi s pomočjo programa mobilnosti lahko izboljšali predvsem ponudbo, delovanje in prepoznavnost ene od naših enot, Muzeja usnjarstva na Slovenskem v Šoštanju.

Solidarität lernen (?) Erfahrungen und Perspektiven freiwilligen Engagements im Feld Flucht/Migration

Seit dem Jahr 2015 wurden zahlreiche Bürger*innen in der Unterstützung von Geflüchteten aktiv. Ihre Tätigkeit war und ist essenziell für die Gestaltung eines solidarischen und friedlichen Miteinanders in Graz und der Steiermark. Im Forschungsprojekt „Solidarität lernen (?)“ wurden Erfahrungen, Bedürfnisse, Strategien, sowie Lern- und Bildungsprozesse der Freiwilligen analysiert.

The kick-off meeting for City Quiz & Walk project was held at e-Futuro’s premises in Lisbon on Saturday 21st of September 2019.

The partners had a chance to get to know each other and presented their institutions. 

The project was discussed and the partners had a brainstorming session with ideas for the city quiz apps we will be creating during this project. Output one, research on other offline city walks and online city quizzes in the partner’s own languages and countries will be the first step of the project that will be finalized in November 2019.

After two years of continuous work, our Erasmus+ strategic partnership "Languages, Opening Gates to Society" (LOGS) has finished. Four organizations from  four different European countries were involved: 

  • The Finnish Folk High School, Gothenburg, Sweden (coordinator)
  • CFA Catalonia, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain (partner)
  • Jazyková škola Poprad, Czech republic (partner)
  • Tartu Folk High School, Tartu, Estonia (partner)

The objectives of projects were:

Die vorliegende kumulative Promotionsschrift verbindet die verschiedenen Beiträge zum Thema „Weiterbildung von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund“ und geht der übergeordneten Frage nach, welche Angebote und Zugänge zur (beruflichen) Weiterbildung für Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund existieren und wie diese offener und lernfördernder gestaltet werden können.

Hoci je sociálna práca dlhodobo spoločensky nedocenená môžem zaručiť, že aktivity, ktoré vykonávajú sociálni pracovníci komunitných centier, si vyžadujú antického človeka. Naši kolegovia v komunitných centrách organizácie Človek v ohrození v marginalizovaných rómskych komunitách, sú pre mňa ideálom všestranných osobností. Ich práca totiž nie je len prácou, ale poslaním.

Viešosios bibliotekos prisideda prie kultūrinės atminties išsaugojimo, dirbdamos kraštotyros darbą.

Implementation of the concept of “social inclusion” in adult education and, in general, in lifelong learning is still relatively new, and especially its wider use for the development of professional training for adult educators, trainers and pedagogical personnel is not common at all.  As one of the first initiatives in this area, a working group at the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE) collaborated with Martin Kronauer (Kil & Kronauer, 2011), a pioneer in the theory development for social exclusion, in order to conduct empirical research on "urban and social inequality", "change in work and new social questions".

El próximo viernes 25 de octubre se celebrará en Zaragoza una jornada de difusión de las oportunidades Erasmus+ y Plataforma EPALE para el sector de Educación de Personas Adultas.

Uno de los momentos más felices desde el punto de vista profesional como director del CEPA Teresa Enríquez de Torrijos (Toledo), sucedió cuando a nuestro centro le fue concedido un proyecto Erasmus+. El pasado 4 de junio el Servicio Español para la Internacionalización de la Educación (SEPIE) hizo pública la resolución por la que se publicaban las solicitudes seleccionadas de proyectos de Movilidad de la personas por motivos de aprendizaje, Acción Clave 1, correspondientes al programa Erasmus+ 2019.

In the period from 01.10.2019 – 30.09.2021, the Lifelong Learning Center will be working as a partner on the new project: Assessing Competences for Reintegration – CORE, financed by Erasmus+ program, key action 2 – strategic partnerships for adult education.
