I våras publicerade Encell - Nationellt kompetenscentrum för livslångt lärande en rapport om kvalitet i vuxenutbildning.

Studien ger en aktuell bild av vuxenutbildningens förutsättningar i Sverige. Fokus för studien är hur chefer och rektorer ser på kvalitetsarbete i vuxenutbildning. 162 kommuner har gett sin syn på kvalitet och kvalitetsarbete och av dessa beskrivs nio kommuner mer ingående.

Open Educational Resources (OER) can be used free of charge, they can be adapted and disseminated. As such, OER have become important tools in adult education. The White Paper serves as an introduction for all those using or interested in OER as well as for political decision makers. It provides an overview over the legal basis and presents the key stakeholders and events in Germany, Europa and the USA.

Del 6 al 8 de mayo de 2015, más de 260 estudiantes de Formación Profesional de toda España pondrán a prueba sus habilidades y destrezas en la 35 edición del Campeonato Nacional de  Formación Profesional, Spainskills 2015. Implementarea proiectului se deruleaza in intervalul martie 2014 – septembrie 2015.

Vox is on a county-by-county tour related to the digital learning platform and national training program on social sciences for immigrants to Norway. The aim is to share experiences and feedback from tutors and adult learning leaders across the country.

The comprehensive program is designed for immigrants with newly granted residence permit. 

Täiskasvanute koolitaja professionaalne areng hõlmab kolme üksteist vastastikku mõjutavat protsessi: professionaalse identiteedi kujunemine, professionaalne õppimine ja isikliku õpetamisteooria kujunemine. Täiskasvanukoolitaja professionaalsus on seotud nii teadmiste ja oskuste kui ka hoiakute, arusaamade ja tõekspidamistega ning avaldub praktilises tegevuses. Critical perspectives on professional learning

This one-day conference is the seventh in a series on professional learning, organised by the University of Leeds, and Birkbeck, University of London. It is intended for all those working with professional learning, broadly defined. It will be relevant for those concerned with initial and ongoing professional learning, both in work and in educational contexts; it therefore focuses on professional learning in universities, workplaces and in and continuing professional development and education.

The development of Estonian qualification system began on request of the Government of the Republic of Estonia in 1998, when Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry established a Qualification Reform Team and the first occupational qualification standards were devised. Since 2001, the occupational qualification system has been developed by Estonian Qualification Authority (Kutsekoda). Since 2008 the occupational qualifications system is governed by the Professions Act.

Los premios Miguel Hernández están dirigidos al reconocimiento y difusión de la labor realizada por instituciones públicas, entidades privadas sin ánimo de lucro y centros de educación de personas adultas de todo el Estado, que se distingan por su aportación eficaz al aprendizaje de personas adultas. Desde su creación en 1991, gozan de gran prestigio como referente de buenas prácticas en el aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida. Cada año, los trabajos premiados y los que obtienen mención honorífica son publicados para su difusión y conocimiento.

This bibliography about Adult Education: Quality Assurance, Educational Outcomes was compiled in February 2009.

This policy brief is based on the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) peer learning activity (PLA) on the quality assurance procedure of self-assessment in vocational education and training which took place in Budapest, May 22-23, 2013. The PLA brought together quality assurance national reference points, VET (vocational education and training) providers, practitioners, government agencies and those with a national or regional responsibility for VET policy from 14 member countries.

This publication presents composite indicators on participation in VET which are constructed based on data provided by Eurostat from joint data collection on education (UOE), Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS) and EU Labour Force Survey (LFS). They will be further used to monitoring the developments in vocational education and training across European countries. Indicators on participation in vocational education and training (both initial and continuing) are presented and analysed.

EU tools in education and training must be more strongly focused on end-users, a recent Cedefop conference heard.

Although there has been much progress with tools, like those related to qualifications and credits, they have not been sufficiently linked together and have lacked a long-term strategy based on the needs of citizens.

Reporting on the results of recent Cedefop research, these were key messages from the 'Stepping up the Pace' conference held in Thessaloniki on 27–28 November.

The Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) aims to improve the quality of teacher education in Europe through the international exchange of research and practice in pre-service and in-service teacher education, and through active dialogue between the different stakeholders. At its 30th annual conference in Amsterdam, ATEE members addressed the issue of teacher quality by means of keynote presentations, paper presentations during parallel sessions, and meetings of research and development centres.

EQArep Final Dissemination Conference “Transparency of European higher education through quality assurance”

The EU funded EQArep project aims to contribute to the increasing demand for transparent, comparable and reliable information on the quality and quality assurance of European higher education. To this end, the project has mapped the current QA reports’ publication practices by QA agencies and explored the different needs of stakeholders for transparent and comparable information in order to develop a set of “European recommendations for QA reports”. During the event, the results of the project will be presented, discussed and further disseminated to a wider audience.
