Los textos en lectura fácil son una herramienta que permite el acceso a la información y a la cultura a las personas que tienen dificultades lectoras y/o de comprensión y a personas con discapacidad intelectual. Los escritos se redactan de acuerdo a unas normas que facilitan la comprensión y la accesibilidad.

By implementing the project "Market of Entrepreneurship", the team of NGO association "Putevima preduzetništva" (The ways of entrepreneurship) has acquired skills that have increased association’s efficiency and promoted entrepreneurship in general public, as well as within marginalized groups in Serbia.

AHEAD, an organisation that is focused on promoting full access and participation of students with disabilities in further, higher education and employment are hosting their annual international conference, 'Through the looking glass: Reflecting on Inclusion from the boardroom to the classroom' on the 26th and 27th March 2020 in Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland. 

The Handbook "Through new approaches to better outcomes in the education of students with special education needs", was created as part of the study stay and experience we acquired in London, in the United Kingdom, through the Erasmus + project in 2018. It is written in the wish to transfer part of our knowledge and acquired experience to teachers working with students with disabilities and dealing with inclusive education.

I vuxenutbildning möter vi studerande med varierande inlärningssvårigheter. Hur vi möter våra studerandes nuvarande kunskaper om samhället varierar mellan de olika områden där vi undervisar och vi bemöter våra studerande olika beroende på våra olika målgrupper.

The positive ageing indicators report is an outcomes framework to monitor trends and changes in the participation levels, health, and security of older people in Ireland, at a national level. The positive ageing indicator set was developed by the Healthy and Positive Ageing Initiative(link is external) and reported for the first time in 2016.

Aikuiskoulutuksessa kohtaamme opiskelijoita, joilla voi olla mitä erilaisimpia oppimisvaikeuksia. Opiskelijoiden yhteiskuntataidot näyttäytyvät erilaisina eri oppiaineissa ja aihealueilla, ja oppilaat kohdataan eri tavoin sen mukaan, mihin kohderyhmään he kuuluvat. Riippuen siitä, millaisia haasteita opiskelijoilla on, aktiivista kansalaisuutta voidaan vahvistaa ja kasvattaa eri keinoin.

A number of community and voluntary organisations have come together, with the support of the HSE Social Inclusion Services Cork, to create a new entity called Cork Equal and Sustainable Communities Alliance (CESCA). CESCA works together to address issues of disadvantage in Cork City.

Applications are invited from groups / organisations seeking to promote social inclusion and social justice in Cork City. The key focus will be on collaborative work using once off funding which can be completed within a 12 month timeframe.

Safeguarding Ireland has urged the delivery of Adult Safeguarding Legislation to better protect vulnerable adults and reduce abuse.

In parallel, the organisation also called for the development of a Regulatory Framework for Adult Safeguarding and an independent National Advocacy Service.

Priežastys, kurios išprovokuoja netipišką elgesį gali būti įvairios, bet svarbiausios - tai dėl silpnesnio mąstymo, atminties sutrikimų ar silpnesnės orientacijos kylantys sunkumai. Kaip viso to išvengti? Išankstinis tikslingas pasiruošimas ir taisyklių bei tinkamo elgesio aptarimas padėtų proto negalią turinčiam žmogui kuo komfortabiliau jaustis jam neįprastoje aplinkoje ar situacijoje.

Wie war das noch mit den Bienen und den Blumen? Wo kommen eigentlich die kleinen Kinder her? Diese Fragen haben uns (wahrscheinlich) in der Jungendzeit sehr beschäftigt. Dass Sexualerziehung auch eine Sache der Erwachsenenbildung ist, damit beschäftigt sich die neue Ausgabe des Onlinemagazins „European Lifelong Learning Magazine“. Gerade durch den Internetboom mit seinen unbegrenzten Zugangsmöglichkeiten zu Themen, die früher weitgehend verschlossen waren, macht das Thema heute besonders relevant.

At least 1 in 8 students are neurodiverse (this includes conditions such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD and Developmental Language Disorders) but not all students arrive at college with a diagnosis or have had previous support for a variety of reasons. This may include moving around the education system (Looked after Young People) and lower recognition of traits in females.

Using online robust tools for screening for neurodiversity and assessing studying skills at induction allows for practical and student-centred support for those who require it in a timely manner.

Interactive apps can also support the student when moving from college into work. The Do-IT Profiler accessible web-based system allows this to happen.

Parfois, à l'occasion d'événements sportifs majeurs, nous nous rappelons les athlètes qui nous ont offert de belles émotions il y a plusieurs années. Rarement nous parlons de ce qu'ils font maintenant. Parmi ceux-ci figurent certains qui restent dans le sport, en entraînent d'autres ou agissent dans les structures des associations sportives. Cependant, de nombreuses histoires montrent que le marché du travail ne veut pas toujours (ou ne peut pas) tirer parti de ce qu’ils ont à offrir.

Ar dažnai matome šiuos žmones besidarbuojančius paslaugų sferoje? Ar užsuksite pas mus SOLIDARIOS KAVOS, kurią verda sutrikusio intelekto jaunuoliai?

All’interno del progetto “Erfahrungen mit Gentle Teaching. Vielfalt braucht Vielfältiges” (Erasmus Ka219), si è recentemente svolto “The Gentle Day” e presentata la brochure multilingue “I would like if… “, entrambi ispirati al metodo Gentle Teaching.

Gemeinsam haben sie 187 Jahre an Erfahrung im Aktivsport in mehreren Dutzend Disziplinen. Sie verfügen über einen Erfahrungsschatz, der sowohl Erfolge als auch Misserfolge umfasst. ONi sind Personen, für die Disziplin, Härte und der Kampf um die eigene Zukunft das tägliche Brot sind. Wer weiß besser als sie, wie man Ziele formuliert, wie man Strategien entwickelt, wie man Widrigkeiten trotzt, von denen es mehr als genug gibt, und was der Preis des Erfolgs ist? Das stellt einen einmaligen Wert dar, den ONi mit anderen teilen möchten.

An Cosán VCC is currently accepting expressions of interest from learners for Certificate and Higher Certificate programmes for it to hold based on demand, and would be delighted if those working in adult learning would consider discussing this with any potential students they believe might be suitable and benefit from the course. Expressions of interest are being accepted via survey that can be found through the link here.

The Finnish National Agency for Education EDUFI, The Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and FINGO invite education sector experts to an event about solving the global learning crisis and identifying successful multi-stakeholder collaboration models.

As Selcuklu Special Education Vocational School, 175 special education students (mildly diagnosed with mental disability) are educated in 16 classes and 7 workshops in 5 different fields to prepare them for work and profession. In order to make our workshops more functional in our schools, we went to Germany as a project partner 3-4 years ago and, unlike our country, we had the opportunity to see and examine the work done for the preparation of special students for work and profession.
