On 1 October of this year our gym turned 80 years old. We were planning a number of events to mark the occasion, one of which was a republican conference of adult teachers scheduled for April.
The outbreak of the emergency situation forced us to rearrange our plans and brought with it a lot of uncertainty.

Nema puno stručnih i znanstvenih radova koji se bave prostorima u kojima se provodi obrazovanje odraslih. Politike obrazovanja odraslih su zanemareni dio u istraživanju socijalnih i obrazovnih politika (policy). To se odnosi i na globalnu razinu  (Milana i Nesbit, 2015 ) i na hrvatsku razinu (Žiljak, 2017). Trenutno u Hrvatskoj postoji vrlo malo istraživanja koja se bave obrazovanjem odraslih. Andragoški glasnik je jedini časopis koji kontinuirano prati obrazovanje odraslih, a međunarodne konferencije koje se bave obrazovanjem odraslih organiziraju se svake dvije godine.
