The Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) has just started the ESF project “CHANCE- New Opportunities for Adults” focused on preparing and testing models for different groups of low skilled adults (literacy, numeracy and digital skills) in Poland. This project is supervised by the Polish Ministry of National Education.
One of the tasks is to find out and compare how those adults are supported in Poland and other European countries.
The FRSE would like to organize a study visit to Lisbon and Porto in March 2019 for a group of c.a. 10- 15 persons, experts in non- formal and informal learning to meet Portuguese experts and get to know their experiences. We would be happy to visit 4-6 NGO’s and other organizations (local, regional and state level).
We would like to discuss the following matters:
Formal, non- formal and informal adult education/ competence;
Priorities in adult learning;
Public and local policy;
System of validation;
Identification- mapping- assessment- certification;
Policies, law and regulations;
National overview and projects;
Different work methods with low skilled adults in Portugal;
Results, good practice examples, sustainability
Procedures at local/ regional/ state level
