The choir is unique because of its work principle. 8 ensembles work with the repertoire independently in different regions of Latvia. One time a month the ensembles come together and after an intensive rehearsal give a concert. Altogether the choir has sung 419 songs in 312 concerts. In the repertoire of the choir there are songs of different genres - Latvian folk songs and songs written by Latvian composers. The main theme of the songs is nature. Lately the choir has added fragments of operas to its repertoire.
