TAD training introduces the professional profile of an “Ability Advisor” who will help Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the tourism field (catering, transport, accommodation and etc.) to develop their business and improve services for the accessible tourism market. TAD platform - a course to prepare advisors in accessible tourism; making tourism accessible for all visitors, including those with disabilities or specific access requirements.

The material provided in the program can be easily integrated in VET tourism sector programs/learning subjects (catering, transport, accommodation and etc.).

Learners will enjoy discovering “Accessibility in Tourism” and developing new skills that can improve their employment prospects.

For business owners, we encourage you to read our materials and test your knowledge on how to improve customer services and win a larger share of the growing accessible tourism market.

At the very end of the study the learners are able to apply for the final test – which is also online – and after its successful completion he/she receives a certificate approving the competence in Ability Advisement area. The course is available in English, Lithuanian, Italian, Portuguese languages as an open source (https://learning.abilityadvisor.eu/) for educators interested in the accessible tourism and related subjects (courses).

 

The learning program was implemented under the project “The Ability advisor: improving the tourism for all market by VET“ (No 2017-1-LT01-KA202-035218), funded by the “Erasmus+” KA2 program. The project consortium consisted of 5 organisations from 4 countries: ENAT – the European Network for Accessible Tourism non-profit association (Belgium); Bluebook – Communication Agency (Italy); ENGIM – Piemonte Vocational Training Organisation (Italy); TecMinho – private non-profit training organisation – University of Minho Interface (Portugal). TAD project was led by Panevėžys Labour Market Training Centre (Lithuania).
