In its City Kvart premises, Educo Centar will hold a lecture on the topic of “The First Cycle of the Cultural Experience of the Portuguese Language” on 20 and 21 January, from noon to 2 p.m.
The lecturers are prominent professors and students from the University of São Paulo:
- Prof. dr Valdir Heitor Barzotto (Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of São Paulo – USP),
- Professor Eugenia Kossi (master’s student at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of São Paulo – USP),
- Prof. dr Claudia Rosa Riolfi,
- Professor Selma Regina Olla Almeida (master’s student at the Faculty of Philology of the University of São Paulo – USP).
The first day will be dedicated to those employed in the educational sector, so the topic will be the training of teachers in Brazil and Angola, the experiences of the lecturers themselves in relation to their own training as well as teaching Portuguese to others.
The second day is intended for all interested citizens, to whom the lecturers are going to present Brazil and the Brazilian tradition in an illustrative way. Topics such as cuisine, literature, music and dance will help the audience to become more familiar with the culture of Brazil.
The lecture will also mark the announcement of the two-week Portuguese language course that is going to be organized by Educo Centar, in cooperation with one of the lecturers, for interested citizens free of charge.
