Our project has been prepared for students who are studying Information Technologies at Ankara Yenimahalle Ahi Evran Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Participants consist of 10 students from Yenimahalle Ahi Evran Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School who are at 11th and 12th grades and 2 vocational teachers who will accompany them.
As the world becomes digitized (as the operations of businesses are digitized), a new information model emerges. However, in today's point we need real-time monitoring of the data in distributed form, from phones to automobiles, lamps to thermostats, even to heart rhythm tracking devices. In this sense, companies are investing billions of dollars on speeding up the work of the Internet in R & D.
The Internet of Things (IOT) refers to a powerful network of devices with an electronic system, software and sensors for data analysis and exchange. IOT reshaping of our lives with responding innovative products finally set the stage for new and wonderful ways of doing business.
Intelligent and powerful computing, combined with 5G at lightning speed and an advanced data center, will create great experiences in all sectors with powerful software infrastructures. Automotive, retail, industry, energy, health, smart buildings, smart cities, smart transportation can benefit from IOT power. IOT, which accelerated with the development of mobile technologies, has great potential in creating economic value and social change. Consumer and business spending for IOT and endpoint equipment will be $ 3 trillion by 2020. By 2020, 21 billion devices connected to the Internet will be generating more data than 20 Zeta. In order to provide a foundation for seamless and secure connectivity between devices and in data centers on the Internet (Bulut Computing), there is a need for APIs that can provide value through real-time analysis, and Application Developers that can develop service creation software.
The advantages of the Internet of Things will cause changes in the production, function and behavior of companies with a new economic transformation on a global scale. This change has begun to take place much faster than any previous industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).
It is possible to produce software solutions that provide added value by generating applications that solve problems ranging from analytically oriented decision making processes to complex simulations and modeling based on the information generated by the Internet of objects.
Data can be transformed into actionable information with software solutions that generate value and monetization by creating new revenue streams and reducing operational costs.
To analyze securely structured and unstructured data in real time, software can be produced that combines complex data sets with performance.
Management software required for monitoring, diagnosing and remote control of Internet Objects can be developed to work independently from the platform.
Our objectives; To support the need for competitive, reformer, innovative and thoughtful workforce to produce software for our country's value-added information technology.
To learn and teach to develop the application in accordance with the determined international standards, to train highly qualified and self-reliant individuals and to provide employment, to develop foreign language skills, to develop skills in programming languages, to be more qualified in vocational education.
Accelerating digital and Industry transformation, increasing digital competitiveness, reducing unemployment, ensuring national and international cooperation, achieving a competitive and sustainable market economy is our long termed goal.
The experience and professional development of the students at the end of the internship training will increase the number of employment opportunities and the number of sectors to work after graduation. Foreign language knowledge will develop. Students will increase their self-confidence. Our students will have the opportunity to discover new cultures. At the same time our teachers will make a comparison in professional training between the EU and Turkey and will share these gains with colleagues when they return, they will be the ability to develop new techniques and methods.
The preparatory activities for the project are planned to be started in November 2018. By the end of October 2019, all activities of the project will be ended.
