In order to contribute to personal developments of students, theoretical lessons and practices in compliance with EU educational standards will be provided to 11th and 12th graders majoring in Accommodation and Travelling Services and Food Technology, in Hafsa Sultan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High school. Three groups planned to be made from three different EU countries. 8 students in each group, 1 teaching assistant, 1 group manager in total 24 students, 3 teaching assistants and 3 group managers. The Project aims to reach 30 beneficiaries. Making a decision on partners took a long time. Our Project team investigated and listed the institutions providing vocational training and internship opportunity for the position in our Project. Experiences of institutions on international projects have been determined. We contacted partners in abroad countries through e-mail. After the Project is assessed and approved, we will share the necessary information with a specialist from the national agency in all stages. Binding agreements will be made before “grand agreement”. In the long term, we will organize internships and it will help to acquire professional skills. With this project, we will make up shortcomings regarding the hygiene of food production in the short term. The Project will bring experiences to participants about hygiene practices in accommodation and give an opportunity to improve their selves professionally. It will also be a good impact on participants regarding food hygiene, food safety, and raising awareness on quality. Due to current demand in the sector, experiences and professional background will be the reason to be selected in the competitive labor market. The Project will contribute positively about the economy by employing participant students in accommodation and food sectors. Educated students will contribute to employee institutions in terms of hygiene and safe production processes.
