Vicky Duckworth and Jonathan Tummons co-authored the book "Contemporary Issues in Lifelong Learning" published in 2010 by McGraw-Hill Educational Publications in the UK. With a preface and eight chapters, the book brings readers a critical analysis of contemporary issues and debates in the lifelong learning sector. The topics discussed in the book are presented in an easily understandable format. The authors examine topics such as inclusive practices, employment agenda, curriculum, and research-led instruction that are important for the lifelong learning sector. There are practical strategies and reflective tasks in the book to help readers become better practitioners with a critical and inquisitive point of view. At the beginning of each chapter, learning outcomes, case studies, chapter summaries, and useful web sites, that are important for trainees, teachers, and stakeholders in continuing professional development programs, are presented.
