Viale Maestri del Lavoro 10, Torino c/o ITC ILO International Training Centre of the ILO

Learning foreign languages and knowing cultural diversity by participating in an interactive game. These are the keywords that define the objective of the project "Hunt for Europe: Using language Simulator in Culture & Language Integrated Learning", funded by the Erasmus + program and benefiting not only migrants and refugees, but also operators working with the abovementioned target. Combining the teaching of cultural and linguistic knowledge through the quid pluris given by Virtual Reality, constitutes the strength of the project, which has as its final intent the search for a European identity, in a perspective of inclusion and social equality. The partnership is valid and diversified, from 7 countries, such as Austria (Die Berater), Denmark (VIFIN), Germany (Wisamar), Greece (Vardakeios School of Hermoupolis), Ireland (ITT), Italy (EnAIP Piemonte) and Spain (Centre 4 Education).

For the presentation of the digital platform and its results, a multiplayer event is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday the 26th of June 2019 at the ITCILO – International Training Centre of the ILO.

Promotion of multilingualism and diversity are the objectives of the "HUNT FOR EUROPE: Using Language Simulator in Culture & Language Integrated Learning” project. Through an interactive game, the project aims at supporting the learning of one or more foreign languages and the comparison between different cultures of participants. The digital platform, conceived and created by a European partnership, will allow, on one hand to learn a foreign language, and on the other to achieve historical and cultural skills of the country where it is spoken. Combining the learning of both cultural and linguistic elements is the key element of project, and the final objective is to search a European identity. Platform access is free: it is a useful tool especially to people who work with migrants and refugees. An efficient tool to fight for social-equality and inclusion. Hunt For Europe is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme; the partnership consists of 7 EU Countries: Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Spain.
