Soros International House invites everyone who loves poetry to the international poetry festival “Discover Poetry De Novo”!

One of the activities of Creative Europe program “ePublisher” project is organizing international poetry festivals. Two such international festivals have already taken place in Krakow (Poland) and Turku (Finland). The third one is going to take place in the Lithuanian city of Vilnius.

Everyone is welcome! Events are free!

Aim of the event: the development of existing and reaching new audiences who are interested in professional and amateur poetry, introducing innovative ways of publishing poetry writings. Objectives: • Increase society’s interest in poetry in each partner country • Involve general public in poetry creation and/or translation; • Foster cross-cultural cooperation and support getting knowledge of different cultures. • Promote less widely used European languages (LWUEL) and multilingualism • Promote active citizenship and pride of national as well as European identity.
