The free #FEResearchMeet event aims to bring together practitioners working in further education to discuss practitioner research. This includes those working in sixth form colleges and FE colleges, or those working as adult and community education and training providers. Delegates are encouraged to share their experiences, their research and to voice any questions that they have concerning the further education sector.
Date: 29 November 2019
Location: Ashton Sixth Form College, Darnton Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 9RL
The event will deliver talks by two keynote speakers and at least 10 presenters. They come from varied backgrounds within the FE sector, but all share an interest in researching their own practice and using evidence to improve teaching and learning approaches. Presenters will deliver a five-minute pitch and then a 45-minute workshop to those interested in the topic that will be discussed. The event will also aim to uncover sector priorities and innovations.
The organisers will keep in contact with those registered for the event and update them regarding attending speakers and the workshops they will offer. These details will be released during the autumn.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and delegates who have special dietary requests should inform the organisers using the contact details provided below.
