18TH INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

In collaboration with Istanbul Kültür University Radio and Television Technology Program, Bakırköy Municipality, BASAD-Bakırköylü Artists Association and Çevre Film, “18th International Environment Short Film Festival ”will be held. Turkey's first and only “environment” themed short film festival accepts films in the genres of fiction, documentary and animation with environmental themes. The deadline for competition for short films not exceeding 20 minutes is March 1, 2020.

Festival Events

Within the scope of the festival, in addition to short screenings on “environment” themes from various countries, activities such as exhibitions, interviews, open sessions and music concerts will be held at Istanbul Kültür University, Beykent University, Nişantaşı University, Maltepe University and Kayseri Erciyes University.

The first of each branch will be awarded a total of six thousand TL worth of financial prizes and plaques by the municipality of Bakırköy. In addition, all participating directors will be given “certificate of participation” and “Fahamettin Akıngüç Special Award”.

The award ceremony of the festival will be held at 7.00 p.m. on April 22, 2020 at Istanbul Kültür University Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center.
