We are going to continue the discussion. Indeed, we believe that the issue of digital inclusion, with the practices, tools and techniques mobilized, reveals underlying pedagogical and social intentions. This reminds us of the analytical framework of the right to education developed by Liechti and Meyer-Bisch, (2003, Liechti, 2007) using the "4A" approach: Acceptability, Adaptability, Adequate Staffing and Accessibility.  The "4As" allow us to question the degree of consciousness in the relationship between objectives and means (Ardouin, 2019).

What role does a webinar play in today's training landscape? Is the webinar more of a seminar or a lecture over the web? It is difficult to find two trainers who understand different forms of training in the same way. We need to be clear about the concept and meaning of different forms of training, including webinars.

The latest issue of the Education Permanente lifelong learning magazine, “L'introuvable qualité en formation” (n°223/2020-2), focuses on quality. The contributions featuring in this issue oscillate between the challenges of the new regulations and the considerations related to the concepts - both abstract and complex - of the quality, efficiency and evaluation of training. We will take this occasion to briefly review the “ages” of training quality in France and Europe.

Even when COVID broke out Romain did not move to communicate immediately via webinars and other online solutions. Talantlers decided first to take the time to develop a comprehensive long-term business plan which will meet theirexpectations and those of their clients when it comes to quality, relevance of topics, format and structure. Their ambition is more to create L&D experiences and programs for their participants.

This question was put to training professionals by the EPALE France team during the period of lockdown that affected Europe and the world for several weeks. With distance learning becoming essential in all support and training measures, how can we avoid accentuating the digital divide?

Over one week, a “Mentimeter” space was made available to training professionals, allowing them to freely testify about their experiences.
