As Selçuklu Halk Eğitimi Merkezi of Konya city of Turkey, we have started a project that our adults with disabilities will implement its activities. The project name is " Special Frames from Private Eyes" This project includes activities such as planting trees, reading a book, lessons activities, theater, and cinema, folk dance, zero waste, "Sema Show", send off to the military ceremony, scouting and touristic trips.
The West Midland Police and Crime Commissioner has set up the Appropriate Adults (AAs) scheme to support vulnerable people in custody. AAs ensure that vulnerable people are treated fairly while in custody and combat against the miscarriage of justice.

The course “Felt Accessories Making” provided by Erdek Public Education Center is one of the courses in the handicrafts branch. Special students attending the course are happy to work as a well organised team, to create new things and socialize. Felt is considered to be the oldest known textile product. Recently, it has been used in the production of souvenirs and in the works of many artists.Special students sell soaps in felt and make money. And they are so happy.

As we arrived to the final phase of ACCESS Erasmus+ project, partners are focusing more on sharing intellectual outcomes with the widest possible audience. We have impacted approximately 100 beneficiaries through 4 multiplier events recently conducted in the United Kingdom, Slovenia and Hungary.

To increase the opportunities for learners with additional learning needs by offering innovative Vocational Education & Training and the opportunity to carry out work internships in Europe.
Partners from Italy, France, Austria, Poland and Spain as well as North West Regional College from Northern Ireland have been co-operating to develop training materials and to champion a more appropriate approach to WBL for learners with Additional Learning Needs.
The Positive Action Employability Programme offers adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to secure paid permanent jobs within a range of posts across the Belfast Health Trust. Belfast Metropolitan College was pivotal in the delivery of this 14-week programme with the support of Belfast Health Trust staff. Throughout the programme the trainees underwent continual assessment and feedback supported by their Tutor, Patient & Client Support Services staff and their Employment Support Officers. As a result, nine trainees graduated from the programme and will now be offered paid employment from available posts within Patient & Client Support Services across the Trust.
NOW Group is a social enterprise based in Belfast that works to support people with learning difficulties and autism by helping them secure jobs with a future. Responding to high demand for people within Northern Ireland’s booming hospitality sector, the organisation has launched two innovative academies. Running in Belfast and Omagh, the 12-week long programmes offer an accredited qualification alongside a 6-week work placement based in the industry.
Ohjaamo guidance centres are low-threshold service points that form a new kind of multidisciplinary guidance service for young people under 30 years of age in Finland. The guidance centres support young people in life management skills and promote their engagement in training, education and working life by offering information, counselling and guidance services.

The strategic partnership “Aufbau und Vernetzung von Stadtführungen in Gebärdensprache” [“Developing and Networking Guided Tours in Sign Language”] aims to allow deaf people to participate in cultural opportunities from which they are often excluded. Institutions from Germany, Austria, and Italy are working together in the project, which was launched in September 2017. The objective is to advance innovative developments in the field of adult learning and to discuss practical experience. At the same time, the project is the initiator of a European process.
Fergus Timmons is the Training Manager at the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI). The job involves looking after the training needs of an organisation with almost 1,000 staff and volunteers. ASI also provides education and training opportunities for Irish carers looking after a loved one with dementia. ASI coordinated the successful Erasmus+ Adult Education KA2 project Home Based Care – Home Based Education. A projekt célja, hogy alkalmazza a neurodidaktika felnőttoktatásra vonatkozó legújabb ismereteit a hátrányos helyzetű csoportok támogatására (ideértve a munkanélkülieket, az 50 év felettieket, a fogyatékosságot, a bevándorlókat, az alacsonyan képzett embereket, a fejletlenebb régiókból származókat, stb), hogy ösztönözzék őket az egész életen át tartó tanulás folyamatában.

Learning Disability Wales has created an Easy Read of their Inspire plan, which aims to increase participation in the creative arts in Wales. Easy Read documents are simple to understand and are an excellent resource for those with learning disabilities and difficulties, allowing them to stay informed about what is happening in their communities.
Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological disorders affecting around 1% of the population worldwide. The report 'Epilepsy Priorities in Europe' (2013) reports that 50% of the 6 million people with epilepsy in Europe are affected by stigma (ref:www.ilae.org/policy/documents/ERF-Report.pdf).
