Non-formal and informal learning

DigiAdults (2019-1-PL1-KA204-065528) project intends to explore end evaluate the impact of the use of digital tools and the Internet in the of a variety of categories of learners at risk of social marginalisation, then drawing out implications offindings in terms of guidelines for trainers involved in formal, nonformal and informal education, and generating acollection of case studies and best practices, assembled on an online resource center.

On 10 and 11 of October, in Lazarevac, Republic of Serbia, the Second national festival and the First regional festival of horticultural libraries were held. They were organised by Mirko S. Markovic, head of the Horticultural libraries network and the host library National library “Dimitrije Tucovic” from Lazarevac.

The INNORESOLVE project (2017-ES01-KA202-037932), funded by the EU Lifelong Learning Programme, which aims to contribute to increasing high quality learning opportunities for owners and managers of foundry companies by improving their digital skills and innovative practices in order to be ready to face the challenges of Foundry 4.0, is coming to an end.

From sept the23d and Oct the 2nd , all the partners of VIRAL for Local communities project attended the second learning teaching training meeting. Ten days to work together to learn how to make a VR video, from the script to the editing. All the video shooted can be seen and tested at the "VR TEST POINT" sattled at the public library in Santa Croce sukl'Arno-Pisa, Italy. Whoever can wear the visor and have a VR experience. People are then asked to fill in a form to express their impressions and feelings. All the collected datas will be useful to improve the final output. 

After two years of continuous work, our Erasmus+ strategic partnership "Languages, Opening Gates to Society" (LOGS) has finished. Four organizations from  four different European countries were involved: 

  • The Finnish Folk High School, Gothenburg, Sweden (coordinator)
  • CFA Catalonia, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain (partner)
  • Jazyková škola Poprad, Czech republic (partner)
  • Tartu Folk High School, Tartu, Estonia (partner)

The objectives of projects were:

The second LTT scheduled for the VIRAL project takes place in Italy between the municipalities of Santa Croce sull'Arno and San Miniato. During this Learning Teaching Training session, all the contents and tools necessary to compose the final tool kit will be developed. The central part of this LTT meeting is in any case the technical part that has the aim of making a video in virtual reality: all the partners have learned to use the video camera and make a video and they will bring this know-how to their respective associations and then write and shoot their videos.

The aim of the Adult Educators’ Unconference is to promote the debating culture in the community of adult education and to bring the topics relevant for the community into focus, in order to find solutions to them together.

In December 2012, the Council of the European Union adopted the recommendation to its’ Member states to organize and offer systemic arrangements for validation of knowledge, skills and competences acquired through non-formal and informal learning to their citizens, when possible, by the end of 2018

El Centro de Educación de Personas Adultas “Edrissis” de Ceuta, tras resultar galardonado con el “Reconocimiento a la Calidad de los Proyectos ERASMUS+ 2019” en el sector de la Educación de Personas Adultas, según lo publicado por el Servicio Español para la Internacionalización de la Educación (SEPIE), será protagonista en dicho evento de carácter nacional.

Trainers' kit to be used during EUMENTORING: Inova Consultancy Ltd recognises that finding employment for migrant women can be a daunting prospect, even more so when their background is in any STEM field. Inova developed group mentoring sessions to incorporate action learning techniques, coaching and mentoring, combined with career development/self-reflection tools to support women in STEM and improve their employability skills. The Mentoring CirclesTM have been adapted to EUMentoring for the purpose of the EUMentorSTEM project.

DESCRIPTION of the project

The Family Skills project has released a Family Skills Toolkit to assist parents and carers who are still developing their own language skills and caring for children who are also building English ESOL skills.
