Since 16 March 2020, when all training centres, schools, colleges, universities and places open to the public were closed, training operators and those in charge of education have very quickly reorganised themselves to use the digital tool to disseminate courses, webinars and proposals of all kinds. David LOPEZ, EPALE France coordinator, gives a quick overview of what has changed since 16 March 2020 in France and the challenges ahead for digital education.

We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

The project called "Looking for change : mobility is for you !", has provided 26 unemployed young people from Reunion, aged between 18 and 25 years old, the opportunity to be trained via an Erasmus Pro internship in European firms (Spanish, Irish and British) for a three or six month stay.

The dissemination event of "The Departure" blended mobility results was held in Massafra (Italy) from 22nd to 26th February 2020. It was organized thanks to the participation of the 7 countries of Erasmus+ KA204 I-TALES project: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and the Italian learners,a group of local young people and migrants/refugees living in Massafra.

Improve your competences as a volunteer manager/coordinators!

This webinar happens in the context of the project "Volunteering Management Expedition (VolExpo)", a project that aims to improve the methodological competences of volunteer managers and coordinators (both paid and unpaid) by collecting methods and tools that correspond to their skills needs from at least 9 European countries.

We are presenting a report on adult education in five countries where the Learning Circles in Libraries project is implemented: Finland, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Romania.

The report contains an analysis of the state of adult education in those countries, with special emphasis on online learning. It also contains general conclusions and recommendations for the countries that will run Learning Circles, as well as the 'national’ conclusions and recommendations, i.e. those that take into account each country’s perspective.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of energy resources activities on attitudes and views of prospective classroom teachers about renewable energy resources within the context of out-of school learning environments. In the study, quasi-experimental design without pre-test post-test control group was used. The research was conducted in the spring term of 2017-2018 academic year with an in-depth study plan for a total of 14 weeks with 12 prospective classroom teachers within the scope of Community Service Practices course.

The intention of the “Cybersecurity for seniors” project was to prepare such an educational programme for seniors incorporating the subject of basic cybersecurity. We have tested new learning methods aimed at enhancing the digital safety of seniors in each partner country, looking together for the most appropriate topics based on international research. Also part of this publication is our research in three countries where we compared the safety skills of seniors and young people. In total, the publication contains 16 methods that are suitable for inclusion in different courses or individual lessons of lecturers, trainers, or teachers.
