University staff strikes planned to take place for eight days starting from 25 November 2019 have seen great support, with another university vice-chancellor breaking ranks to voice his concerns and even joining less senior staff on the picket lines.

Staff are due to walk out of 60 UK universities over disputes concerning pension contributions and pay for eight days from 25 November 2019. A vice-chancellor has argued against the Universities Superannuation Scheme and calls on institutions to better support staff.
On 28-31 October, OLDER project partners held their first study visit in Lithuania and Latvia.
The first day kicked-off with a visit to the headquarters of Medardas Čobotas Third Age University in Vilnius, which is also the coordinating partner of the OLDER project. Guests had a chance to attend an English language lecture, engage with elderly students and teachers, and get to know traditional Lithuanian crafts and national costumes, worn by representatives from handicrafts faculty.

The Assembly of the Posavina Canton adopted the Law on Adult Education on the 6th regular meeting held on October 2, 2019. Thus, the process of creating legal framework is completed in the last administrative unit responsible for adult education which now represents a base for development and further regulation of this field in entire Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Fully Trained and Dedicated Teachers For A European School With Happy, Kind, Valued Children project" was implemented in our school between 01.08.2017 – 31.07.2019. Being part of a community affected by unemployment and poverty is a real challenge for teachers to achieve visible results with particular groups of students, therefore, the implementation of this project funded by the European Union Erasmus+ programme was a great opportunity for us.
Basic literacy and life-skills are general practical skills which are essential for our participation in the local community, for our integration into social life, for our employment, and basic skills also open the doors for us to acquire new specific skills and professional competences. The team of the Institute for Strategic Research and Education (ISIE) was engaged by E4E@mk Project to conduct an analysis of the current situation and the challenges with a special focus on the legal framework, the resources and other processes and competences within the formal vocational education. The analysis is based on empirical research conducted in the period August - October 2018.
