WELCOME FESTIVAL Arcella Edition

The EUMentorSTEM project recognises the lack of experienced career professionals trained to work with the specific target group of migrant women with a STEM background. Therefore, one of the main aims of the project is to provide a training programme for guidance professionals to support migrant women with a STEM background to develop their skills and competences to succeed in the labour market.

Tinkering creates a bridging point between a learner’s personal interests and experiences and a broad range of possible learning outcomes. It offers valuable opportunities to engage all students in STEM and fosters a more inclusive STEM education. In this way, it is very much aligned with a Science Capital Teaching Approach: fundamentally, it is a highly personalised pedagogy, which allows the learner to follow their own interests and set their own goals.

UNESCO’s education programmes help improve lives across the globe.

Often, the concept and activities of Popular Education is considered as "French idea". Nevertheless, some researchers have wrote on it, trying to distinguish what is Non formal education or Adult education in comparison with Popular education.

This dossier shows different experiences from Finland, Italy, UK, Spain, Greece, France,.... The is a concordance of ideas, concepts and activities. Probably, the most important caracteristic is the idea of social transformation.

It is a multilingual Learning Management System developed with the aim to equip learners with knowledge, abilities and skills that allow them to enter the entrepreneurial world, via Industry 4.0 and Drone Technology, in order to yield the related opportunities. It includes a course, trainer guidelines, evaluation tools and e-learning platform.

The paper presents and examines employee assistance programmes (EAP) as a means of strategic intervention and supportive mechanism which provides assistance to individuals and organisations through various types of informative, advisory, educational and evaluation services and interventions, for the purposes of resolving issues that influence productivity, e.g. issues having to do with health, family, finances, emotional life, as well as issues related to requests, relations and equity at the work place, harassment, abuse, stress, etc.

This is an Erasmus+ funded project which aims to design and implement effective training tools for enhancing key skills and competences of (a) highly-skilled refugees and (b) the language teachers who work with them, and so enhance the employability and societal integration of skilled refugees.
