Vocational education, which is one of the priorities of the 2023 Vision Document and the Ministry of National Education, is of great importance for the production and service sectors. Aware of the critical role of vocational high schools in development, the District National Education Directorate has designated the 2019-2020 academic year as the breakthrough year in vocational education in our district.

The integration of migrants involves employment, and employment requires learning the language of the host country. Pistes-Solidaires has been a partner in the WORK-VR project since September 2018. The project was launched by the Danish organisation VIFIN, and focuses on the use of virtual reality for language learning and integration. The aim is to create an e-learning platform for learning work-related language and cultural skills.

The course aims to teach the trainees how to create a standard recipe, to plan the meal for mass nutrition, to make basic sauces used in international cuisine.  It also aims to make terms and methods used in both national and international cuisine as a skill and to make dishes from international cuisine as well as Turkish cuisine.
