Birmingham City Council is accepting applications for grants to the value of £2,250 that will enable the receivers to deliver English language acquisition activities over a period of twelve months with refugees and migrants. There are two funding rounds, the first ending on 30 September 2019 and the second ending on 31 October 2019.

Trainings for the staff of started on 31 October 2018, General Directorate for Lifelong learning and ended on 15 March 2019 in the context of the Project called European Agenda for Adult Learning, implemented by Ministry of National Education. Trainings were provided in 7 pilot provinces (Malatya, Mardin, Manisa, Eskişehir, Bursa, Ordu, and Hatay) for the staff working in 81 Provincial Directorates of Supervised Freedom Directorates who gives guidance to supervised freedom convicts and ex-convicts.
The European Solidarity Corps is calling for project applications by 1 October 2019. Solidarity Projects encouage young people aged 18-30 years old to undertake an activity that will benefit their local community and help them to develop crucial skills.
Trainings for trainers working at Public Education Centers of MoNE was completed in 7 pilot provinces (Eskişehir, Malatya, Bursa Ordu, Hatay, Manisa, , Mardin) between the dates 20 February 2018 and 4 May 2018. The trainings were conducted in the scope of European Agenda for Adult Learning -4 Project which is implemented by Directorate-General for Lifelong Learning of MoNE and financed by EU, aiming to improve the basic skills of adults, especially ex-convicts and supervised freedom convicts, and raise awareness for their employability, besides setting up an institutional cooperation in line with the aim.
Although creativity and innovation are considered one of the key driving forces in modern economies, to date there have been few approaches concerning creativity and innovation management. A Tempus Közalapítvány idén is megrendezi disszeminációs tréningjét a köznevelés, szakképzés, felnőtt tanulás, ifjúság és felsőoktatás területén a 2017, 2018 vagy 2019-ben támogatást nyert pályázók számára.
Az Erasmus+ eredmények hatékony kommunikációja disszeminációs tréning fókuszába idén a tartalomgyártás kerül. Minden projektben lakozik egy történet, ami arra vár, hogy megmutassák a világnak. A szervezők megadják a résztvevőknek az ehhez szükséges eszközöket.

The OBADE project: Open Badges and Adult Education is an Erasmus+ project, which was successfully concluded in May 2019. Within the framework of OBADE, 7 partners from six European countries have explored the possibilities for implementing digital badges as a tool for recognizing non-formal adult knowledge.

The poster presentation by the Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability was held during the PLA Awareness Raising and Guidance in Luxembourg on 4 April 2019. The aim of the PLA was to share good practices about awareness raising and guidance in lifelong learning.
LearnersMot Erasmus+ project is being developed by the LearnersMot partnership. It addresses the issues of literacy and low educated as well as low skilled workers’ education. Prior to the literacy course that is yet to be developed and piloted, partners wrote a handbook to be used by adult educators intervening in companies.
The survey commissioned by the Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability analysed the progress and national user satisfaction amongst EPALE Platform registered users in Malta, as well as, analysed potential users’ interest in resources and content they would be mainly attracted to.
EPALE National Support Service issues an electronic magazine each month tied to the thematic focus on EPALE. The magazine contains a selection of most read blogs on the platform translated into Serbian and other articles relevant to adult education in Serbia and Europe.
In accordance with the EPALE monthly focus the magazine in October 2018 dealt with Projects and partnerships.
This publication presents readers with an inventory of adult basic education and basic skills programmes in the form of 35 system descriptions covering 32 countries. The data used in this publication covered a range of areas related to learning opportunities for adults with low basic skills, or low level or no qualifications. Large-scale programmes intended to support adults in acquiring basic skills were in the centre of enquiry.
