The aims of The Take Care Project are to help migrants gain language skills about health matters in a new language and improve their integration; to create a European wide network of associated partners and to contribute to intercultural communication. One of the main objectives of the project is to collect and compare good practices of existing organizations and projects providing migrants with medical information in the local language.

The project partners collected good practice examples focused on projects contributing to the improvement of communication and language skills of immigrants.

The project also developed innovative materials to help migrants improve their communication skills.

The good practices hereunder are in the following main categories:

  • internal proceedings in the Health Care Services;
  • development of new Informative printed resources in several languages;
  • production and use of Innovative online materials;
