A Study on the Styles of Adult Learners

Abstract: In many researches, according to many variables such as gender, age and culture,differences are observed. In fact, individuals have a profile of styles, not a single style.Especially for adults to know their style preferences in organizing their own learning. To gain the ability to use can increase the quality of adult learning. Also the style of the group of tutorials know their structure, both in terms of learning environments to be prepared according to individual differences. they are considered important for the method and technique they will use. Therefore, in the research, Public Education Center to determine the relationship between the learning styles and the thinking styles of the trainees intended. Veri Thinking Style, developed by Stenberg and Wagner in order to collect data Scale ”and ch Learning Style Scale en developed by Grasha and Riechman were used. trainees personal information (age, gender, course type) was collected with a questionnaire. As a result of the research conducted in the Public Education Center courses some sub-dimensions of adult learning and thinking styles according to variables such as gender, age and type of course there is no difference between the learning styles and thinking styles.The relationship was revealed.
