EPALE - Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe

The Scholarship Framework is the main output from the Scholarship Project, led by the Association of Colleges and funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, and was launched on 26 June 2018.

 

This new framework aims to enhance scholarship in the college higher education sector, supporting UK colleges regardless of where they are in their HE scholarship journey. It also contains resources aimed more at the individual practitioner who can take part in the forum to develop a wider community of college higher education practice.

• enhancing the learning experience of students
• advancing relevant forms of scholarly activity within technical and professional curricula
• developing a college scholarship policy
• integrating scholarship into appraisal processes
• providing learners with links to local labour markets
