Dr. Thieu Besselink gave the inspirational talk at the 1st unconference for the adult educators: A Place For Learning organised by the Estonian National Support Service of EPALE. The 1st unconference took place on December 3, 2015 in Tallinn.

Dr. Thieu Besselink is a founder of The Learning Lab (the Netherlands), the think-tank for learning and social innovation. The Learning Lab and Learning Lab Foundation focus on building capacity for a renewal in education and oranisational learning for a resilient society, and develop knowledge and approaches for social innovation.

The format of the non-conference allows the practitioners to meet and discuss the topical subjects. The day was inspired by four short speeches, followed by the discussions on eight different topics in the “fishbowls”.
